Sheena is a South African contemporary artist working in Rolleston on Dove, UK.

‘No mark is a mistake and adds to the whole painting.  I love to capture scenes from around the world that speak to me at that moment.’

Presently developing my painting skills by doing a Master in Fine Arts – Painting at Coventry University.  I enjoy painting both in oil and acrylics with the use of mediums and use a variety of tools to create interesting marks and suggestive marks. 

Coming from a sunny South Africa, I am drawn to using vibrant colours, particularly in flowers, landscapes, and cottage gardens to more neutral tones in seascapes or forest scenes.  I enjoy painting all the diverse subjects both in South Africa and England.

I like to communicate through my artwork through lines, shapes, colours, forms and gestural marks. I have also successfulyy run a number of children’s and adults art classes. Please follow me on Facebook and or Instgram to see latest offers and classes available.

When you consider buying art for your home or place of work, consider how it makes you feel. I have not been painting for very long but I paint from the heart. My works are an expression of how I see things and feel about them. Most of my work is on canvas and some framed.
